Dr. Hoffmann Pereira is a thoroughly modern and versatile performer,  equally proficient as choral and instrumental conductor.

​​He is the Music Director at New Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he directs the Sanctuary Choir on regular services and the Concert Choir in the NPC Concert Series.

Dr. Pereira is also Adjunct Professor of Music at Lynn University (Boca Raton, FL) and Music Instructor at Highlands Christian Academy (Pompano Beach, FL).

He has conducted/collaborated with a variety of choral and instrumental ensembles throughout his career, including the Simpson Symphonic Choir (California; formerly Trinity Repertory Singers), Shasta Symphony Orchestra (guest conductor | collaborative; California), North State Symphony Orchestra (collaborative; California), Simpson University Chorale (California), Simpson University Women's Chorus (California), Shalom Chamber Choir (Tennessee), Hiwassee Chorale (Tennessee), ACU Chorale (Arizona), LSU Orchestra (Louisiana), and LSU A Cappella Choir (Louisiana). He has also directed K-12 and choral/instrumental ensembles in Florida and Brazil.

Dr. Pereira uses a holistic teaching method aiming at making students and performers active co-participants in the music-making processes. It is an an effective, performance/education-oriented system that works!
